1. Shipping

Here's everything you need to know about how we ship.

  • Most orders ship the same day if placed before 1:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
  • Free Shipping on orders $100+ to the contiguous U.S. (Lower 48), with some exclusions.
  • We ship worldwide, with restrictions on batteries and a few sanctioned countries.
  • Local pickup is available at our Middletown, IN warehouse.

Only UPS Next Day Air and UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS 3 Day carry a carrier-backed delivery guarantee. All other transit times are carrier estimates. Carriers can and do miss estimates, especially during holiday peaks and severe weather.

If you need it on a specific date, pick UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air or 3 Day Air, place the order before 1:00 PM EST, and call us if you're cutting it close to the cutoff.


3. Processing Time & Same-Day Cutoff

Same-day shipping cutoff: 1:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.

Most orders placed before the cutoff ship the same business day. We don't guarantee same-day shipping — even for expedited methods — but we hit it on the vast majority of orders.

Same-day shipping may be delayed by:

  • Heavy shipping volume (peak season, sales)
  • Fraud verification review on high-value orders
  • Large or oversized orders that require special handling
  • Inclement weather affecting our warehouse or carriers
  • Early carrier pickup on a given day

If you place an order close to 1:00 PM EST and need it to ship that day, call us — we'll confirm whether we can still get it on the truck.

We don't ship on weekends or U.S. federal holidays. Orders placed Friday afternoon, Saturday, or Sunday ship Monday.

UPS Next Day Air specifically: If your order is placed in time to process before the cutoff, your order is guaranteed to arrive the next business day via UPS. Methods other than UPS Next Day Air are not guaranteed for next-day delivery, regardless of past delivery experience.


4. Free Shipping

Who qualifies

Orders $100.00 or more shipping to the contiguous United States (Lower 48) qualify for Free  Shipping.

Who doesn't qualify

Free shipping does not apply to:

  • Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or Guam — elevated carrier costs to these destinations
  • International orders — we offer discounted rates but not free shipping
  • Oversized or heavy items such as airplane, jet kits, big carrying bag, and similar bulk items
  • Orders containing LiPo or Li-ion batteries — hazmat ground rules apply (see Shipments Containing Batteries)

If your cart contains an excluded item or destination, standard shipping rates show at checkout.

How free shipping works

We pick the carrier for free shipping based on weight, size, and destination. Possible methods include UPS Ground, USPS Priority Mail, and USPS Ground Advantage. You can't select the carrier on free shipping.

Expect 3–7 business days for delivery. Free shipping is not guaranteed to arrive by a specific date. If you need faster delivery, upgrade to a paid method at checkout.

APO / FPO / DPO addresses

Military addresses qualify for free shipping on orders $100+, but only if the order can ship via USPS Mail (the only carrier that delivers to APO/FPO). Bulky or heavy items that exceed USPS limits may not qualify — in those cases, our team will reach out with options.


5. Where We Ship

Contiguous United States (Lower 48)

All shipping methods available. Free Ground Shipping on orders $100+.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam

Available, but not eligible for free shipping. Standard rates apply at checkout.

APO / FPO / DPO Military Addresses

Available via USPS Mail only. Orders $100+ qualify for free economy shipping if shippable via USPS. Bulky or heavy items may not qualify due to USPS size and weight limits — we'll contact you if that's the case.

International

We ship to most countries worldwide, with the following exceptions:

  • We do not ship to countries under active U.S. OFAC sanctions, currently including Russia, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, and Syria. This list can change — if your order is to a sanctioned destination, we'll cancel and refund.
  • Free shipping does not apply to international orders.
  • LiPo and Li-ion batteries have carrier and country-specific restrictions. International battery orders may require additional documentation or be limited to ground freight.

Duties, taxes, customs fees, and brokerage charges are the customer's responsibility. We don't collect or prepay these at checkout, and we can't reimburse them. Check your country's import rules before placing an order.

International customers shipping to a U.S. address

If you're traveling in the U.S. or have a forwarding service, you can ship to any U.S. address at checkout. Standard domestic rules apply.


6. Shipments Containing Batteries

LiPo and Li-ion batteries are classified as hazardous materials. They can only ship via:

  • UPS/Fedex Ground, or
  • USPS Ground Advantage

What this means for your order:

  • Air methods (UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3 Day Select) are not available for orders containing batteries
  • Even if other items in your order would normally ship via air, the entire order ships ground when batteries are included
  • International battery orders may require additional documentation, ground freight, or have country-specific restrictions
  • Orders to APO/FPO with batteries may have limited shipping options

If you need expedited delivery on a non-battery item, place a separate order without batteries.


7. Damaged, Lost, or Wrong-Address Shipments

Damaged in transit

Report damage within 7 days of delivery. This window aligns with UPS and USPS carrier claim periods — beyond it, we lose our ability to file a claim.

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Keep the box, packing materials, and all contents
  2. Take photos of: the box exterior, the packing materials, and each damaged item
  3. Contact us with your order number and the photos

For high-value items, we file a carrier claim and arrange replacement once the claim is processed. Keep the damaged goods and packaging until the claim closes — carriers often request inspection.

Package shows delivered but missing

If tracking shows "Delivered" but you don't have the package:

  1. Check with neighbors, household members, and building staff
  2. Wait 24 hours — carriers sometimes scan as delivered ahead of the actual drop
  3. Look around the property — side doors, garages, behind bushes
  4. Contact us if it still hasn't shown up

We'll open a carrier trace and work with you on next steps.

Package not moving on tracking

Contact us if your tracking has shown no movement for:

  • 7+ business days on a domestic order
  • 30+ days on an international order (customs delays are common)

We'll open a carrier trace. If the package can't be located, we'll arrange a replacement or refund.

Wrong shipping address

Once an order has shipped, we cannot change the delivery address. This protects against a common fraud pattern — orders placed with valid info, then redirected after dispatch.

If your order shipped to the wrong address:

  1. Contact us immediately
  2. We'll request a carrier recall — recall + return to sender typically takes 1–2 weeks
  3. Once returned, we'll reship to the correct address (additional shipping may apply)

P.O. Box note: UPS cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. Most orders ship via UPS Ground, so use a street address whenever possible. If your only option is a P.O. Box, contact us before ordering so we can route via USPS.

Signature requirement on high-value orders

Orders above $500 may ship with signature required at our discretion. This protects high-value RC equipment from porch theft. If you won't be home to sign, contact the carrier with your tracking number to schedule a hold for pickup or signature waiver where allowed.


8. Local Warehouse Pickup — Middletown, IN

We're warehouse-based — there's no retail showroom — but local customers can pick up orders in person.

Pickup hours

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST. Closed Saturday, Sunday, and U.S. federal holidays.

How to pick up

  1. Place your order online and select "Local Warehouse Pickup" at checkout
  2. Allow 1 hour for our team to pick and pack
  3. For same-day pickup, place your order before 1:00 PM EST
  4. When you arrive, bring:
    • Your order confirmation number
    • Valid photo ID
    • The credit card used for payment (for fraud verification)

If you arrive within an hour of placing the order or during a high-volume period, there may be a short wait.

Ordering at the warehouse

You can't place an order at the warehouse counter — our team isn't set up for retail transactions. Place orders online or by phone before arriving.

Selected "Local Pickup" by mistake

If you're not local and selected Local Pickup at checkout, contact us. We can either:

  • Invoice you for the shipping difference and ship the order, or
  • Cancel and refund

Pickup orders and fraud verification

Pickup orders go through the same fraud check as any online order. High-value or unusual orders may be held briefly for verification before release. We'll contact you if there's a delay.
